Some times you just gotta...

This one was born over a dinner I had with my friend, Nate. He was trying to ask me if the shadows of the characters, or outlines of them, would hold up enough for anyone to recognize them. I did some research on the idea and found out that it was actually a thing. Anyway, after hearing Nate bring it up this was the first thing that came to mind, the four Brothers sitting on a dune discussing food. Well, to be very honest, the first idea was that one of them farted. I think t

Do you realize how much time and noise a kid on the bank of a lake with a drinking straw can waste when he's bored ... countless hours!! My Mom was always afraid I was going to hurt myself with the straw, I don't think she realized how much actual lake water I took in because of poor timing, if she did, she would have been more concerned about lake water. I DARE you today, blow bubbles in your drinks! Don't tell anyone why, just watch the look on their faces!! Enjoy your stra

Looks like Derec has got a new toy for the beach. I think it's a reference to the red plastic boat I had as a kid, I think it was a hand-me-down from one of my sister's beach toys. Well, it made an impression at least! I am afraid when they used it, it was for a leisurely day on 'the lake' and mine was more target practice for rock bombs. Oh well. May all your boats float today! Have a great day! To learn more about Derec click here, to see more work with Derec in it click he

The boys are back to playing frisbee again. I used to love this activity as a kid. In fact, this red one is just like the one I had up at the cabin as a kid. Unfortunately, it spent more time on the ground than it did in the air. Do you realize how fast a kid has to run to play catch with themselves?!? Sadly, I do. I never did catch it. Tell me about the greatest game of catch you played. Was it with someone special? In a special place? How about WHAT you played catch with? L

Hydro was lucky to have his Brother there. I have a couple people I can jump too. Isn't it great that they catch us, even though they know what were are really like! Try to "catch" somebody today. Aren't you just jealous of people who can nap anywhere! That's our "Derecho" or "Derec" for short. To learn more about Derec, click here.

I thought I would gather all the guys together to celebrate America's 250th Birthday. Enjoy a safe, restful and grateful holiday!
