Cynder's Background
Of the four Elemental Sons of The Dark Lord, Cynder, a being made of pure magical fire and energy, is the oldest, but only by moments if you were to ask his siblings.

Cynder's quick temper and even quicker sarcastic wit not only get him and his brothers into, but occasionally, OUT of trouble.
​
Of the four brothers, Cynder is the muscle, the enforcer, and sometimes the guardian of the group. Striving desperately for his father's acceptance and never receiving it, he is content at being alone with his thoughts; an act some consider arrogance but to which his brothers have become accustomed. All the while, if put into the position, willing to stand with his brothers.
​
As an elemental, Cynder has the ability of shape-change at will, though he uses it very sparingly. While his brothers use the same abilities in more mischievous pursuits, Cynder prefers to stay in his "human" form choosing the mentality of, "I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people and I require the same from them." The drawback is, as with the others, while he can change at will, his basic fire construct will show through, revealing him for what his true physical nature is, fire.

Commonly seen wearing Fire Fighter turnout gear (because, WHY NOT, it works for them!), Cynder can also control the intensity of his internal temperature making it possible to be around others who would be more susceptible to heat and flame without causing them damage. He has even been known to, with concentration, physically touch another with no, or little, harm done though that's NOT something he would advertise to many.

Though an outcast and rebel, Cynder's spot in this misfit family is one of strength and leadership.
