The Dark Tower
In the heart of, The Obscure Lands, stands at the highest point, Lonely Mountain. At the absolute peak is, The Dark Tower, home to the oldest and strongest of the magic user's guild, The Dark Lord.
No one is quite sure how long this eroding structure has stood or exactly who first erected it, but many village Elders will swear that when its newest tenant moved in,
two things happened:

First, the breakdown of the structure stopped and while no repairs or changes to it were made, it also seems to be in a constant state of crumbling.

Second, nothing else grows around the structure. Everything withers and decays
in its presence.
​
While there is a quiet peace to it, there is definitely a feeling of foreboding here,
as well as the feeling of being watched by many eyes.
